You have unbalanced tires. Don't listen to people saying your car will "blow up" or you have "broken belts" cause you'd feel that below 60mph. When your tires are unbalanced then you'll feel a shake from 60mph - 70mph, after that the car will stop shaking. Take it to your local tire shop and they will balance the tires for around $40. I know cause i've been working with car tires for about 7 yrs. now. Good luck!

Set aside the stupid answers to your question...vibrations happen all the time like this, and most are caused by your tires being out of balance. Get your tires balanced and rotated at a reputable shop. If that doesn't cure the problem, and the shop guys don't notice any defects in your tires, you may need to replace the tires.

Remember, it's not an alignment issue - alignment problems don't cause vibrations, they cause pulls while driving.

I agree, you should take it to a tire shop and have them aligned and balanced. If the probably persists, I would recommend immediately taking your car in and replace your tires if possible. My sister took her car in because of the same problem, they said her tires were probably about to blow up on the rode. I would rather you be safe than sorry. Remember, Jesus loves you and wants to spend eternity with you, all you have to do is ask for forgiveness and say you wont him in your life from hear on out :)

more then likely its your rear tires out of balance, if it stops shaking at a higher speed.

it sounds like either your tires need to be rebalanced or possibly a broken belt in one of your tires.
