When i went to the Pearl jam tour concert in grand Rapids MI, i had to leave in the first encore(my sis got tired) and i found out later that the best part of the show was the encore( and the majority of the show). I just want to know that i am not the only one who is bumbed about something like that.

I would be bummed out. Pearl Jam plays one of the best shows currently, and on their recent tours they have had one or two encores each, with a total of like 35 songs. They're one of my favorite bands. I don't think I would ever leave early.

i had to leave once at the pj show in east troy in 00, bc my friend had to go to work at 7am and it was a 5 hr + drive home and it was already going on 12, so needless to say we left when they were playing smile and we watched from the top of the hill. i told him if they played yellow ledbetter or something i was gonna kick his *** later. but he was lucky they only followed with rvm. if it was up to me i would never have left. and ya the encore is definitely the majority of the show. i was at the same gr show as you and the people in front of me only knew like 2 songs of ten and left early, the girl behind me sat through the whole thing, i was like, if all these idiots werent here, i would be so much closer to eddie. at the detroit show a few days later, the dude behind me passed out right as they came on and slept thru the whole set, after the show i was like man are you gonna be pissed tomorrow. you missed some great jams at the gr show. next time go with a true pj fan, how could you possibly get tired at a pj concert.

I have never left PJ early. If I were dying I would stay. You should be bummed out. If that were my sister I would kick her butt. But don't worry cause you can download the show from their web-site. It's worth it.

No, I've always stayed to the very end. They're my favourite band.
