Try out this method and see if this helps you. First apply lime juice to the area .Leave it for five minutes. As and when it becomes dry add a little more .Then take some sugar and scrub in that area. Since the part is very sensitive do it very slowly. do not rub hard, you'll scratch the part.Leave it and wash it off. Do it twice a week. In the night before you go to sleep take rose water glycerine and limejuice in equal parts and apply. Wash it off in the morning. Try this out and let me know the result. Do not use deo directly on the skin.Even this creates the dark patches under armpits.

Skin can change with pregnancy. Hormones change and this can make skin a lot different. Maybe she should try a skin bleaching cream. A salt, oatmeal or lemon scrub may help too. Also avoiding sun is good, especially if she wears tank tops that expose the area. Other times too, skin just changes with age. The best thing she can do is just wait and see what happens after she has her baby. It's possible it'll go away. She should just stop worrying about it so much. I am sure she has a lot else on her mind! If she thinks it's really a problem, maybe seeing a dermatologist would help. Best of luck to you, your sister and her new baby!

If could be from the deodorant that you use, try switching to a different brand & see if it starts to fade. Or it could be a skin condition like Acanthosis Nigricans.
Acanthosis nigricans is a skin disorder that results in velvety, light-brown-to-black markings that occur in areas including the neck, armpits, groin and under the breasts.
