How well do you like where you are now? Would you rather be there or somewhere else, and why? I live in Kentucky and would rather be in Texas (yes, even this time of year when it's scorching hot down there.)

I was born and raised, and still live in TEXAS. I don't want to live anywhere else. I live in a good area now, but I would like to move to The Woodlands about 20 miles north of Houston. I love it there. It's so beatiful. But as long as I'm in Texas I will be happy!! And we've had a good summer so far. Not many days have been over 90. The winter was mild too.

I too live in Tampa, Florida except I hate it here!! The weather is pretty shitty, and there is no real seasons either. The terrian here is boring, and im not a big beach fan. Plus i've been to nicer beaches than what we have. I would rather live in New Zealand or Australia, even with the beaches they have many other things to offer. Plus NZ is the most beautiful place on earth followed by Australia.

i live in the Cayman Islands. I love living here but it is really expensive to live here. I would like the weather to cool down some as it is really hot and humid. We are in hurricane season but I'm not afraid of hurricanes having lived through Ivan in 2004. We also had a 6.8 seaquake 6 miles away and that was a little scary. Not too worried about being taken out due to the weather as I believe when it's your turn you can't do a thing about it anyway.

I live in Palm Desert, California, but I will be moving to San Antonio, Texas in 6 months. I would rather be in Texas because there is more going on there for me. I'm tired of being ripped off in California - and yes, I am a native Californian - never lived anywhere but California!!!

I just moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (a suburb of Tulsa) from Carrollton, Texas last year. I like Texas better because there are more things to do, but the schools are easier here. I think I would rather live in Texas.

May I suggest you close your eyes, and look deep within yourself and find out WHY you want to leave Kentucky?

Kentucky is an old, honorable state with a long history, a reputation of honest, hard working folk and its produced some wonderful leaders of our nation.

Texas, has, uhm,,,,*thinking hard* has beautiful women, a dwindling fresh drinking water source problem, employment problems, and if a mans from Texas he'll tell you, if hes not theres no reason to insult him from accusing him from coming from there. (Think on that for a bit)

So, I guess the quesiton to ask yourself is- what is the quesiton BEHIND the question you asked? Is it jobs? Adventure? Excitement? Exposure to salt water? Fishing?

Find this answer to that question, and this question should answer itself- good luck

I live in Chicago. It's ok. The suburbs are pretty nice around Chicago but the city itself is half ok and half crappy. I would rather live in a warmer climate like Florida or California (just no hurricanes and earthquakes!) Somewhere that is warm with beautiful beaches and nice people. I've lived here all my life so I don't know much about other cities.

Natchez, MS. I love where I live. The humidity is terrible and the heat is torture but it is one of the most beautiful places on Earth during Spring Pilgrimage. Come visit us! We have the Dixie Queen Casino in the Mississippi River, under the bridge. We have TONS of antebellum homes that can be toured. Would I rather live somewhere else? ummmm....I can't think of anywhere.

i live in arizona. i love the heat. you dont really sweat much here. people say that you sweat a lot in arizona, but not after living here for many years. maybe if you just come to visit. the only thing i dont like is that when it gets really hot during the summer, like 115 or almost 120 degrees, you cant do anything outside or youd faint. so id move back to california where i can be closer to the beach and have fun in the sun there.

I live in IL but would much rather live somewhere that I would not have to worry about a earthquake..........I mean I haven't had to go through one but they say it is coming sooner than later at least by 2040..........it will supposedly devour Memphis and STL...and be a 8 on the Richter scale......I am scared to death.........if that wasn't an issue I love the STL METRO AREA
