I think the 300 mins is for locals calls, international depends on which you are calling and whether it's a landline and mobile number.

There are something to take notice. 1. if you are going to do one shoot call or several calls (for one shoot pick a clean card for several pick one with fees) , 2. if you have Free long distance with in the USA you can use a Local phone card -usually with a lower rate- if you dont use a 1800 access card,- always take care of FEES . Many companies have cheap rates but the cards r full of hidden fees or poor connection. A great phonecard is the SUPER CLEAN CARD , is clean no fees, 1800 access, great connection..or BOSS LA ...really low rates an local acces from CA. u can use it with free long distance USA. The company where i buy my cards are really cool . loyal, realiable. they return u back ur money if u have a trouble .. and the customer service is really nice... even better they have a free trial.. like 3 dollars for free. www.viapin.com... u can call and ask for the best choice to 1866 my-viapin.

IT DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU GO. BUT YOU PROBABLY WANT TO GET A RECHARGEABLE CARD THAT WAY IF YOU RUN OUT OF MINUTES YOU CAN CHARGE IT AGAIN ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE WITH THE FREE 800 #. FOR EXAMPLE I BOUGHT A CARD AT COSTCO THAT SAID IT HAD 700 MINUTES FOR $20. WHEN I WENT TO EUROPE AND MADE THE FIRST CALL I ONLY HAD LIKE 200 MINUTES TO USE OVER THERE BECAUSE THE RATE WAS DIFFERENT THAN IN THE US.

Often, these cards will charge a fee just to place the call, plus the per minute charge.

You might want to checkout Skype.com. You can make pc-to-pc calls for free and pc-to-phone calls for free in the US & Canada.

Also, I've bought phone cards on eBay.
