let me clarify the last question i asked?

my boyfriend is a VOLUNTEER firefighter. He spends entirley too much time at the firehouse. We both work at the same place and live together but most of the time work opposite shifts. How I can I make it clear to him that it hurts that he would rather go and sit at the firehouse than be at home with me.
Now I understand going on runs because believe me I have no problem with him going and fighting those fires , but to just sit at the fire house I just dont understand it.

Start having your own form of seperate recreation. That's the only way he'll get the picture.
