Yes in some states they have it on websites. Go to your state's home page. Then search the state's web site for sex offenders. If you cant find it call the non emergency number of your local police station (look in the phone book or online for the nonemergency number. DO NOT CALL 911). Then ask the police if there is a website for your state to search sex offenders and what is the website address.
