Reading, scrapbooking, knitting, beading, making jewelry, sewing, aerobics or yoga tapes, cooking, painting, drawing, pottery, puzzles, writing (short stories, poetry, novels, ect.), carpentry....you could learn a new language...that would be fun.
why not get outside and do something? its summer!! that would probably broaden the options a lot more.

Personally I prefer crochet, beadwork and counted cross stitch. Try Michael's or Hobby Lobby for beginners kits on just about anything and then jump right in. Now is the perfect time to start making your Christmas decorations and gifts. HAVE FUN!!!

Painted stained glass keeps me busy. I try gardening, although I don't have a green thumb, it's still something to do.

I cross-stitch right now but I've wanted to do the mosaic tile stuff, or try stained glass, pottery. Go the a craft store (Our big one is Michaels) -- you'll get all sorts of ideas.
