I am a 27 year old male,
Fit and not over weight,
I seem to sweat a lot under my arms and between my legs but no where else,
Even when im not doing anything.
How can I stop this or reduce the sweating?

As a lady with a very similar problem I can sympathise. However there are several very effective over the counter preparations you can use to stop excessive sweating. In the UK the most common are Driclor and Linden Voss, these are underarm deodorants, you can use them on your hands and feet too, but not on your groin! There is another brand called Mitchum but it’s not very strong and I did not find it effective at all. If you ask in your local chemist they will recommend which they think is best for you. Make sure there are NO cuts of scratches on your skin before you put them on, as they will sting like crazy!

I would also recommend washing everyday and not wearing clothes for more than one day. Sometimes you might need to bring a change of clothes to work/Uni so when one shirt gets too sweaty you can change into a clean one. Also wearing black clothes will make to condition much less noticeable.

If the condition does not reduce then go and see your doctor, as there might be an unidentified underlying cause.

If Excessive sweating is your problem you'll find here vert good tips: http://hyperhidrosis.toptips.org

About 2% to 3% of the general population experience excessive sweating a condition called hyperhidrosis which can occur with or without a trigger. The most common type is called primary (or focal) hyperhidrosis and it has no known cause, although it seems to run in families. You may have a different type of excessive sweating called secondary (or generalized) hyperhidrosis.
This means that your symptoms may be due to an underlying medical condition or disease (e.g., nerve damage or a hormone disorder), or due to a side effect of a medication you are taking. Talk to your doctor.

You can get a special deodorant on prescription for your doctor. You can buy it over the counter.

I had some about 2 years ago. I starting sweating when I got nervous after my confidence dropped (Won't go into why). It was great.

Unfortunately I cant remember what its called just remember it was a roll on, was a white bottle with a white and blue label and it was full of iron!!

There are surgeries that can reduce sweating for people with chronic problems. See a doctor and see what they have to say...perhaps your sweating is more normal than you think and stopping it would be harmfull, but then again, maybe you have glands that are over-producing moisture due to a genetic defect.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

I was the shorter, plumper girl. I'd been about 190, 200, most of my adult life. And I met my goal, ten weeks ahead of schedule. And feeling empowered, I decided to drop even lower. I never imagined that I would be 125 pounds, and go from a size 18 to a size 2.

I suffer from this very greatly. I have severe sweating under my arms also called hyperhidrosis. Ive tried lots of things. I would sweat very badly at work and be very embarrased. I got botox injections a week ago and it worked great. my insurance even covered it.

The ultimate way to stop excessive sweating is through BOTOX = this paralyses the sweat gland but only works temporarily.

I would try the doctor first thou for special anti perspirants.
