Just wanted to know if Yahoo checks e-mails and will take away your account if they find out your doing cyber. Sound stupid but I have had my account terminated and I am not sure who or how I offended anyone. I have been reported before but did not feel it was right because the reason did not match the problem. Can anyone tell me the details of why I would have had the account termintated?

the girl on the other end was practically begging for more and even said she would tell me if it got uncomfortable.

If I am doing this at work, can my IT guys see the e-mails? Could they access it and report to Yahoo, maybe?

Yes, they do have the ability to monitor the contents of your e-mail (it *is* their servers). Look at the Privacy Policy located at the bottom of every Yahoo Mail page.

I'm sure Yahoo! reserves the right to terminate any account for whatever reason at their discretion. There may be something you did wrong that you are unaware of. Or maybe you and Yahoo! just have a different view of right and wrong.
However, no, Yahoo! will not cancel your account based on your personal emails to a friend.

I haven't been terminated but "reported as abuse" on many occasions just because someone thought my question was considered "chatting" or whatever. I don't know what to say. There are mean people out there.

Maybe the person on the other side reported you for some reason. Like maybe she didn't like what you were saying.
