informal tuxedo is a contradiction in terms. there is no informal tuxedo. a tuxedo is only considered formal. the only thing it could be is a regular 3-piece suit. semi-formal tux is with out a tie or cumberbund. hope this helps

i work at a formal wear store and an informal tux is the tux pants and jacket with a normal tie. no bowtie, vest or anything like that. just the pant and jacket. there is a difference in an informal tux and a black suit though.

You could always get the tshirt with a tuxedo printed on it :-P
