Republicans rightfully worry about each equally, because each is equally bad and equally needs to be stopped. It's just like the matter of letting criminals such as the murder O.J. Simpson go scot free or convicting and punishing the innocent. Despite the many statements made by our so-called "Founding Fathers" (in reality blithering idiots) and frequently reinterated by the membership of the Association of Criminal-Lovers United (ACLU), sending an innocent man to prison is NOT ten times worse than letting a guilty man go free. The two are equally bad and equal action should be taken to prevent each. That is NOT the fundamental difference between Democrats and Republicans. The fundamental difference between Democrats and Republicans is that while both mean well (which is a very good thing), Republicans exercise much better (albeit not perfect) judgement and therefore DO much better. As for Jesus, he never existed and would have been a jerk if he did.

Republicans usually dont worry about such things. Atleast I dont. Sure everyone wants Social Security fixed, lower poverty rates, and low unemployment. But I dont think people let these things fester (atleast Repubs dont). Democrats tend to throw money at everything, including those that can work but choose not to. Then play on the public about how they care and feal, and take care of "domestic issues." Ever hear of Urbanazation? Just look at Detroit, it is a perfect example of what happens when the Dems decide to start "feeling" and throw money at problems. Republicans believe in lower taxes, hard work, and survival of the fittest. Dems tend to sway the other direction, higher taxes to pay for those that dont work. Its called liberalism. As time goes by, more of the people that buy into Liberalism tend to fail. Thats why you see Republicans in the majority.

Charity is the business of people, not the government. We care about what we can do to help others directly, not through the corrupt, incompetent and uncaring hand of government. When I have extra money, I donate to charities directly, as it should be done.
We don't worry, per se, but we care that our donations are being used effectively to help those who need and deserve it. When an undeserving person is helped, it takes away from someone who does deserve it.
Wasting government welfare moneys harms those who need and deserve it. And it takes money from my pocket. That's theft, and it is a gross violation of my 4th Amendment rights against the taking of my property (money) without just recompense.
