why? can't nations states govenments and thier people come to peaceful understanding that peace starts by not talking of testing weapons or to kill a race, for years some speack of peace but dont's understand the truth of the word, so i ask any one tell me now to insure peace in the world,also what is peace to any one that answer me(peace to you is??) thank you

because there is a major lack of education, u can see that in all well educated countries, people are more civilized and thus more peaceful, in not so educated countries, leaders try to keep their power by feeding crap into everyone else's brains...i believe that until we provide good education to everyone, there will never be peace....and peace to me is internal satisfaction...

Very simple - there are groups out there, motivated by religion, that believe unless you are part of their religion, you have to die because you are an abomination to their God. This is what the US is dealing with concerning radical Islamic groups.
The other side of the coin is that some countries don't want to be friendly and negotiate in good faith (North Korea and Iran), so peaceful solutions doesn't work.
It's just like a bar - there are happy people, sad people, drunk people, and mad people, and you really can't change the way any of them think. You have to accept the fact that they're not just going to "get along", despite how much you'd like it to happen.

World peace is a myth. There will never be a day when the entire world is peaceful. People are to different and imperfect. And sadly the way we deal with theses differences and imperfections is by having fights and wars.

As long as people continue to ridicule the differences between people such as race, religion & sexual orientation, there will never truly be peace in the world. It's sad because we are supposed to be the smartest creatures on this planet, and yet we are all hung up on simple ideologies. Can't we just agree to disagree?

Unfortunately, I believe there will never be peace on this earth at least not by man alone.! There is too much greed, corruption, lawlessness etc. There is also not much love of one another. However, if you believe in God and his promise, someday he will bring peace to this world as it was meant to be.
