Which is better in your opinion?

Busch Gardens. Kings Dominion is good too. But King's Dominion has too much of the Richmond ghetto going there now.
Busch Gardens is much cleaner too. It's also closer to Virginia beach. The other good park two hours from DC is HersheyPark. Hershey is excellent. Clean and fairly cheap. Lots of chocolate. A good other choice.

Kings Dominion has better rides and it is cheaper but Kings Dominion gets blazing hot during the summer because there is very little shade within the park. Busch Gardens has better food, much cooler, and more places to rest when you get tired but it is more expensive. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the rides at Busch Gardens and I still go there on a regular basis but the rides at King Dominion are still better. Edit: As cupcake put it "King Dominion is not exactly the cleanest place where Busch Gardens has been voted the most beautiful park in America for the past 21 years and the workers there are much friendlier."

I enjoyed Busch Gardens much better. I recommend taking the distillery tour as a side excursion. At the end you get to try Anheiser Busch products from all over the world.

King's Dominion is the greatest Theme park in the Country

I've only been to Busch Gardens. I really liked it. A good warm-up roller coaster is the Big Bad Wolf. Check out the historical part of Williamsburg. Its really interesting.

Both are redneck hell. I'd say Busch Gardena - unless you're into torture, then you can ride the little animal trolley at King's Dominion.
