Manicotti
I lg. carton of Cottage Cheese
1 lg. pkg. shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 pkgs. frozen chopped spinach (thawed & drained completely of water)
Parmesian cheese
1 lb. of Browned hamburger meat if desired (Season with Lawry's Garlic Salt and Italian Seasonings blend) Mix the cheeses and the drained spinach with the browned seasoned drained hamburger meat mixture. Add more of the Lawry's Garlic Salt and Italian Seasonings Blend.
Boil the Manicotti pasta (large Tubes of Pasta) until tender per pkg. directions. Take a 9 x 13 cake pan and pour in 1 jar of Prego Meat Sauce and spread evenly.
Drain the pasta and slit down one side. Fill the middle of the pasta shells with the cheese, spinach, meat mixture.
Fold the sides around the mixture and place slit side down on the layer of pasta sauce until the whole bottom of the pan is filled. If there is pasta and mixture left, layer more on top of the bottom layer until it's all gone. Then pour another jar of Prego Meat Sauce on top...add more shredded mozarella cheese and parmesian cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees until the cheese browns slightly and the sauce is bubbling. Yum. Let cool slightly and serve to applause.

If you don't cook much or on a budget, tried the frozen foods at the store, just make sure you have the sauces to go with like spaghetti sauce, for the cheesesticks, or tartar for fried fish and shrimp. I usually just go buy what is an sale. But I keep a few things around the house to fix things up. Onion or garlic go with just about everything. A simple one that I like is baked chicken. Just buy a cheap chicken, pull out the stuff from the middle, rinse it and pat it dry with a paper towell if you have one, don't worry if you don't. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, get the inside to. You can add some garlic powder if you want. Place the chix in the oven at about 375 degrees, for about an hour and a half, to make sure it is done. While you are waiting, cook one of those chicken flavored rice side dishes that come in a box. Rice-a-roni or something like it. I am guessing you want something cheap and easy, I would recommend a box of frozen vegetables to go along with.

Yes, I do. I know how to cook many things. Some of them are: meatloaf, lemon icebox pie, pecan pie, cornbread, pineapple upside down cake, and biscuits.
