You have to remember slavery happened for a relatively very short period of time. No black Man today even has a relative alive who was a slave. Anyway...Black men cheat the same reason white, Mexican, Asian, Indian (and the list goes on and on),Men Cheat.

Men Cheat because there is always some needy sleazy chick who will do it with him. It's not just the guys fault...it's the undermining, devious, needy, cheap $luts that make men cheat.

No one is genetically geared to cheat on their spouse or their girlfriend. Anyone who says so has taken the stud issue during slavery and turned it into a convenient excuse. While I don't condemn dating outside of race, I think that there has to be a lot that a couple have in common to be cohesive or to provide that 'united front' that is so required when child-rearing. If you have opposing views on any issues, they will surely come up in any quarrels you have. Make sure that all of your issues; be they financial, child-discipline, bedroom issues or anything of the sort, are dealt with before you commit to a relationship. Focus on your strengths as a couple. You can be a dynamic duo that everyone will envy.
And nope, you haven't been living in a cave. Some people still hold on to a monogamous relationship as the only way. I think it's a good way to keep it clean and real.

no one is genetically programmed to do anything. Cheating is entirely between the person and his significant other. No race can be more apt or likely to do something especially since race is just a color underneath we are all the same. It is people who have the menality that i am going to cheat because I am black or that I am going to cheat because I am male that will most likely cheat because they think there is an excuse for there actions. If you don't want to cheat prove people with that mentality wrong by being a one woman man.

Look it has nothing to do with race,it's just a fact that some people are pointed out more than others. That is the problem with all people from all walks of life:they cannot get passed the skin color issue. When can we move on and put aside the past and work on the future?

Thinking that black men are genetically prone to cheating sounds like a lame a** excuse for cheating, but hey I'm sure some girls fall for it, so if it works go with it.

I don't think anyone is genetically prone to cheating. I believe that we all make choices; however, there are a unique set of circumstances that African-Americans deal with. Slavery's worst effect was the break down of the family. For many of us we have not seen a African-American man married to one woman, loving that one woman and staying with her. I believe it's difficult to act out what you have not seen.

Please don't blame genetics for your indescretions. Men regardless of colour that cheat, just don't appreciate women and are indeed boys and not men. Those that cheat are only thinking of themselves and thinking in the moment and not the future. They can't successfully leave any real legacy and are teaching are sons to imitate and our daughters not to be appreciated. Wrong, wrong, wrong! Women have desires also, men just want to have their wife for example all to themselves and have other women too. How fair is that? Women also help cheating to survive by being told boys will be boys and to put up with it. If all women demanded this behaviour to stop, men would behave.

no not genetically prone to cheating, when they find the right girl and i mean the right girl no one will cheat no matter what colour or race, ther eis a difference between love lust and true love, true love comes once in a life time love comes amnay times and lust comes everyday, when you ahve found your true love no one and nothing else will matter and definately the thought of cheating will not across your mind as for black men in genral i think there hot and yes have an eye for many women but i think thats more to do witht he fact they appreciate the female population more than most other races do

That's great, try to blame your present shortcomings on things that happened to people over 200 years ago, it's time to buck up and take responsibility for your own actions rather than try to blame your every problem on someone else( the white man). Oh no, I'm a thief, it's the white mans fault, oh no I'm a polygamist, it's the white mans fault, oh no, I can't keep my legs together and I have 12 kids from 15 different daddys, it MUST be the white mans fault.... This kinda crap gets really old after a while, there will NEVER be racial equality as long as this crap keeps going on. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS STOP TRYING TO BLAME EVERYONE FOR YOUR OWN LACK OF SELF CONTROL

Well I dont know where you are living but there are many black young guys who are one woman men and have good careers large houses and white collar jobs. Of course there are time wasters with this ghetto mentality thinking still around but I believe those days are fading.
