I have a 12 year old niece who looks up to these girls. Nothing I say to her seems to get her to realize these are not the kind of girls she should want to be?? Am I wrong?? Who is out there that she can look up to??

Well honestly, no, they are not good role models. There are many many other women out there who will be wonderful role models for her. The thing to look at is to notice her personality and what she likes and the things she likes to be and even what she wants to be when she "grow's up". Then pin point a few females in those areas and show her the positive sides of them and what they are doing that are better the females who worry about fashion, publicity etc..Good Luck

well, they might be role models but not for a 12 year old. these girls do some pretty nasty things and are not the perfect ones to be followed after. advise your niece to look up somebody closer to her own age like Jamie Spears or Hilary Duff or maybe the olsens

Well it's sad but they are role models to your niece they both have money and they are always on TV. I am sure she is looking at how famous they are also. A role model can be anyone you look up to. Maybe she will out grow them later.
