Personally I would be with the poor man, may be poor in finances as long as he is rich in love..

Since I am a poor man, and a single dad(I don't get child support), I guess I don't have any choice. In saying that, my son and I have great time together, and I live in a beautiful place (Vancouver BC, Canada) so I try to count my lucky stars and be thankful for what I have, not what I don't. I do buy the occasional Lottery ticket, and I try to imagine how many people I could help and leave just enough for myself to live on.

The wise answer to the question depends on what do these two men have to offer. If we're talking about love, and the rich man has both love and money, whereas the poor man has only love. Under normal circumstances most (if not all) women will go for security, and this is provided by money these days.
However, if the rich man does not have love - and the poor man does, women will reason that it's better to be with the poor man because he has love. They will only reason that it's better to be with the poor and still go to be with the rich.
So reasonably one would choose to be with the poor man who is rich in love rather than a rich man who lacks love.

I'd rather be with a rich man. A man poor in finances is not necessarily rich in love. It doesn't work that way.

I would rather be a poor woman than a rich one..it seems when you have ever thing in life that you need you start to take for granted the things in life that count the most..although i feel that i am the richest person on earth because i have three beautiful girls and a loving family..have a roof over my head..and food to eat..who could ask for more

Financially rich or poor matters less than being with someone who I am attracted to and who is attracted to me in return (not just physically). I can take care of myself financially, so rich isn't a concern, however I want a partner who can take care of himself financially as well so poor would not be very appealing.

i rather be poor man cos one day i can make myself rich but if i was a rich man one day when i loose everything it is hard to gain it back..
