i was married for 8 years to my ex husband. we had a child togther. i believed it was his child for 6 years. when we were together i had cheated, but never thought of the consequences. my current boyfriend and i have been together for 6 years, due to after the break up of my ex and we have been together. for the past 2 years i have wondered if my current boyfriend was my child's father do to he has similar features to him and to his previous son. what should i do. i have made a comment to my boyfriend and he just ignores it.

Do you really want to shake up everyone with this. You are going to be telling a man the son he thought he had isn't his, a man he thought wasn't his, is his and most damaging is that a young boy's father isn't his father after all. Unless there is some medical reason, leave this one alone.

You need to be honest with yourself your child and the father of the child.... Lying and keeping this a secret is not good and not fair to any one of you especailly the child involved. Get a dna test done to see who the father is and tell the both of them they have to be tested . This is very Jerry Springer, but have a paternity test done. It will take fessing up to both men, but your child deserves it. You'll need to be prepared for both men to ditch you. Father or not. Ideally they will accept responsibility, but you never know. That kind of information may stun them. (Your ex that you cheated and your boyfriend that he is a father)

you need to get a dna test and do it while the child is young. the longer you wait the more damage could be done.

you can get a blood test done and this will confrim everything tell your boy friend you need to do this for piece of mind and then if the out come is that he is your boy friends son then you must tell his other father and still actively allow his other father to see your son if he wishes to

You should get a paternity test done. You can order them on-line so it is discreet. If you do not do it for yourself, do it for the sake of the child. Don't live with this uncertainty.

All you can do is a DNA test to make sure. That doesn't make you look stupid at all. That is you making sure who the father is so that it can put your mind at rest.
