San Francisco--it's so beautiful and you can do almost anything--go to a Giants game, visit Alcatraz, walk across the Golden Gate bridge, visit the diverse neighborhoods (North Beach, Cow Hollow, Union Square, etc.). They also have some the greatest restaurants in the country.
The weather is great in the summer--warm but not hot during the day, like maybe 70-80 degrees and cool at night. Also, in the morning when the fog rolls in it's pretty neat.
Also, the people are pretty friendly too.

San francisco is really worth it. but if you want a place that is like no other, is the most boggling, is the most full of things to do in a short time. it has to be Vegas. The place really is an oddity. i am sure you've heard about the volcanos and pirate ship battles, have you heard about the venetian with its gondola rides through a mock intalian city? the hotels so big it takes a moving walkway 5 minutes to get you into the front desk from the side walk front door? all the shows?
you said visit, and visit IS all i would ever want to do in vegas, every other city in the US i love living in .

They have sports, shows, 24/7 nightlife, parks, zoo, Empire State Building, State of Liberty, shopping and much more. The City that never sleeps!

AUSTIN, TEXAS!!!! I LOVE that city!!! SO beautiful, so many things to do and see.. Neat night clubs and bars around Lake Travis. Once you visit you will want to move there, and I don not like big towns/cities but I LOVE that one..
