(Sorry, I was asking for the equipment, not the gel. I know Bio-Rad, Hoefer and CBS Scientific have gradient maker, just not sure which is better)

we didnt use the electronic thing, but just the two connected cylinders with mixers inside and an outlet and that is all. it worked reproducively as far as i know (for PAGE, not sure about other gels) and there is nothing that can go actually wrong inside it, is there

We have one in my lab. It's a Bio-Rad. Every time it has been used and everyone who has used it says it doesn't work and sucks compared to our usual methods.
