How do I get rid of ANY virus's, if any, in my computer at work through yahoo without my employer finding out?

my lil brother said theres a virus detecter and remover through YAHOO, how do i find it and use it without any one knowing.And how can u tell if your computer has a virus?

well first of all your employer should or does have norton installed on the computer so all you have to do is run that and it will tell you if you do have viruses and clean them up as well...

Trust me you would probablly be in alot more trouble if you tried to go around anyone finding out and ruining a server depending on what kind of company and how big it is.

I would contact an IT person in your company and ask them to run a scan.

I have been using Norton for years and it has been excellent. It has been well worth what I paid for it and then some. As for your question, I agree that if you try to get away with trying to run down a virus and end up with more problems, you could be in worse trouble than taking care of it now. If your boss is any good on computers, he can see exactly what has gone on with the computer if he wants to whether you get this virus off or not just by checking the history on it. Even if things get deleted, the records are on the hard drive so it's best not to do anything on it that you don't want someone finding out about. I keep a regular check on my history if anyone else is on mine so I am sure your boss knows how to do the same. Best of luck to you.
