I think all the talk of rigging is bull. Flat out face it the Heat played better ball the last four games as compared to the Mavs. Yeah, there were a few calls that could go either way, but that is the game. You can't always blame it on a ref, especially when Dallas shot as porrly as they did last night and the last couple of games. Mayeb if they made a couple more shots it would be a different story, so quit banging the refs and bang the shooters who couldn't make shots. As for the Heat repeating, anything is possible.

if u think about how old the heat are and who's gonna most likely stay with the team after this year, the composition might be totally different. Besides dwade and haslam, shaq, jwill, posey, walker will all be one year older and one step slower in every aspect. Payton and Zo aren't even included in that list because who knows if they'll be back. Also, we all know the team wouldn't be the same if stan van gundy was coaching, therefore the heat better hope that riley plans to coach next season if they're even interested to get to the playoffs. There are too many teams on the rise in the eastern conference, detriot will make the necessary changes along with the cavs...and when i have to choose between dwade and king james...it's james all the way

I think so.
Like others have said if Pat Riley stays then they will have another shot. You have to remember that at the beginning of this season no one thought the heat were going to be in the nba finals. So they were underdogs all the way through. they became one learned to play team basketball adn shaq learned that when he is double teamed there is someone open so they got there talent collected in a pot and won it. Dwayne Wade is a magnificent player and he hepled his team more than anyone. he throws himself into the player when he shoots so he can get fouled or he'll pump fake and let the person jump then jump into them. Because he knows he can make the free throws so he makes sure he gets to the line and gets the three point play.
They have a chance yes but mavs do to because bot were in the finals they are going to be expected to be great next year too.
But watch for the suns and cavs cause i think one of them are going to win it. They just didnt have the whole thing down this year

If Allen Iverson does not get dealt formerly the season starts off, rumor has it that he probable basically isn't a Sixer previous the commerce cut-off date next February. If he gets dealt formerly the season starts off, that deal may be the biggest blockbuster this offseason. in any different case, it truly is massive Ben signing with the Bulls. Kevin Garnett and Shawn Marion are unlikely everywhere. i'm no longer finding out on the warmth to repeat. That finished lineup is ageing and that i do no longer see them making many significant strikes this offseason considering the fact that they only won a championship. additionally, all different contenders tend to remodel their team to knock off the protecting champs. they are going to be extra of a purpose next season than they have been this final season. nonetheless, i did no longer assume them to win it this year, so i must be incorrect. as long as Shaq and Wade are healthful, they are going to be good there interior the blend.

Yes. Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O`Neal, Udonis Haslem, Jason Williams, Gary Payton, Alonzo Mourning, Antoine Walker, James Posey, and Pat Riley can be champions any year.

If David Stern wants them to win, yes.
But he needs to create more superstars, so he might tell the refs to let the Cavs win so Lebron will be in the spotlight this time.
Either way the team concept that made this years playoffs so exciting because of the Mavs, Suns etc... will be no more because it doesn't promote a single player as a star. Team effort is frowned upon the NBA.

I doubt it. Thinks just kinda fell into place for Miami this year. Plus who knows if G.P and Zo will retire now that they got their rings. But if Miami makes some moves in the off season you never know. But with this current roster I don't think so.

It is a possibility, but there are other teams who will adjust and match up well with them.....As long as it is not the crybaby Dallas Mavericks I dont care. Im a Spurs fan...so my hopes are that they can regroup and get back to the finals.

If they have the determination to win, then yes they can. As long as they practice hard, and do their best, with the support of Pat Riley they sure can win again!

If they will have the nucleus of the team intact, then they have a great chance of repeating. Of course, they have to healthy as well
