So, my girlfriend and i have been together for 7 years in a mostly long distance relationship, we went to seperate colleges have seperate careers (she is in Med School - I am in sales), both of us have felt like we needed a break at one point or another but we have never broken it off completely She actually did about 3 weeks ago.Tthere has been true love here the kind you may never find in a million years of searching. She decided that she loves me, but is no longer in love (for now). We still talk everyday and see eachother once in awhile, She is my bestfriend, but i can not just be friends with her. Right now there is no initimacy and she is having a real hard bieng intimate although she has been being warmer with hugs and actual passionate kisses. (these were not there 3 weeks ago) But she still needs to time. What else can i do to get her back...not convince her or trick her to love me, but get her to feel the same way.

Make it known how you feel, but don't be too upfront with everything because it might push her farther away. Just be patient. Believe that good things come to those who wait. Hope this helps you.

It may be that it's not you that she has a problem with but commitment itself. If you make yourself unavailable she will most likely miss you and want you bad enough to commit to a more permanant arrangement.

You must let her go in order for her to see you that way.

I think she met someone, thought he was a better bet then you and went for it - only to get dumped or realize he was a loser. She feels bad, guilty, so she's struggling to revive her love for you but she doesn't want to be alone so she's clinging. Move on. You don't fall in and out of love - if it's meant to be, it is and it remains to be so.

Let her Know how you feel about her, if she says the feeling isn't mutual then i guess you will have no choice but to let her go.
