YES!! This happens to me! This also happens to me when I am working out. A trainer at the gym told me that it could be because my skin is dried out and I need lotion. Of course I laughed at her, how could lotion stop me from itching all of the time. Well I decided to try it any ways and sure enough no more itchies for me.

You should try to look and see if there is anything that has changed in your routine or diet. Are you eating something that you normally have not? Are you using a different shampoo, soap or perfume?

Also, is your skin dry? If so then I would get a really good lotion and use that, maybe something in your case for sensitive skin. I would also suggest that if this is a dry skin issue that you use Oil of Olay body wash. It cleans and moisturizes at the same time. I believe they have one that is for sensitive skin or unscented. You may also want to try some oatmeal lotions and body washes as they are helpful with itchy dry skin. I believe Aveeno makes some oatmeal body products.

I hope that this was somewhat helpful. I would say that if it persists that you go see a dermatologist and see what they reccomend.

I get this when seasons change from warm to cool and back the other way. Make hydration be you motto. Inside and outside. Drink lots of water and cut out alcohol & caffeine. Lush Cosmetics has a couple of great items that help me A LOT: Dreamwash body wash. It does not foam and is a beautiful pink cream with the silkiest texture and pretty scent. Then they have a bif selection of body bars that you smooth on you skin after the shower. Choose a scent you like and go with that. I like Amazonian & Sleepy Head and a couple even have a little glitter to them. Their facial moisturiziers are amazing-hit the Lush web site and pick the one most suited for your skin. I use Celestial & Skin's Shangri-La. Best of success to you. Dry itchy skin is such a consuming feeling. Yuck!

You are probably highly sensitive to the soap. When I was younger I use to have really sensitive skin and I had to use skin sensitive soaps. My skin is not as sensitive as it use to be because it has changed with time but until you skin dose than use skin sensitive soaps, make sure you rinse completely, and use lotion when you get out of the bath or shower!

Maybe your skin is getting too dry. Especially if you have dry skin already, washing often can cause your skin to get flaky and itchy. Try a moisturizing body wash and put on a good lotion after you get out of the shower or bath.

Have you been in the sun lately? I tan everyday, and when I stopped this happened to me. I went to the doctor and she said Aveeno lotion, Aveeno body wash, and Aveeno in your bath. So I use Aveeno everyday except the bath stuff (just when I take baths) and no more itch for me. Just make sure you moisturize everyday in order to keep the itchy, dryness away. If that doesn't work, it may just be the weather. Good luck, sweetie!

You might be allergic to your water, since just rinsing does the same thing.

One big guess would be Chlorine - many water sources are treated with chlorine.

Try looking for water filtering devices - one problem with chlorine is that some filters only work on cold water - so something you install in the shower may not work well.

I hope this helps.

I'm allergic to some soaps, look for all natural soaps with no chemicals added. I dont know any sites, but theres a shop by us that makes them homemade. I have the same problem with tide so I think its zest for clothes.

I dont know, maybe you need to switch laundry detergent because maybe that is bothering you when you dry off with the towel and maybe jsut making sure that you dry yourself very well....
