It's kinda nice being able to let fly at will but giving my GF a 'dutch oven' isn't nearly as much fun as it used to be.

Animal protein is what makes farts stink.
You are obviously eating a lot more fiber than you used to, high fiber diets can cause a lot of gas, but without that animal protein they will not stink as much.
Unless you have a gall bladder problem, a problematic gall bladder can make you stink so much you can't stand the smell yourself!

The stomach trying to digest fiber makes more gas, but plants have very few amino acids with sulfur on their structure. The bad smell comes from expelled H2S, and since there is almost no S... They don't smell!

too rapid change of your diet, is it? or track back if there is something that u eat in larger quantities than u used to (beans or certain wholegrain cereals especially - thats where the fiber is)

pls tell me what is dutch oven ?

I'm no mediacal expert, but I'm guessing that your body has yet to get used to the lack of meat. Probably just something that will pass once your GI tract get used to it.

One of my favorite quotes of all time (I forget the source, but I think it's Aqua Teen Hunger Force): "If God didn't want us to eat animals, then why did he make them out of meat?"
