What is it going to help you knowing it is true or a lie. You know when you have to know and you don't when you don't; c'mon live with a free concious and breathe the free air freely. if you love him stay with him if you don't then why bother in the first place to find out his secrets.

Someone once told me that unless you are just a distrustful person of everyone and thing, if you believe something is wrong
with your marriage then there proably is. Usually, when you find things that aren't on the up&up, then something is wrong. The part where most of us, whether we are women or men. fail is not wanting to notice the truths or owning up to what we know or feel because WE LOOOOVE THAT PERSON. Well, the sad truth is that person does not love you, at least not the way you deserve. So what that you are back living at home. Regroup, hold your head up, make some adjustments and move forward with your life. There is someone out there who will love you the way it should be and will only want to be with you. A lie is a lie is a lie.
Whether online or in person.

ask him a question. like what county he was born in. Or what was someone's maiden name. Something he has no reason to lie about. See where his eyes go when you ask him the question(s) (left or right). Then, ask him about his emails...see where he looks. If it's the opposite of where he looked before, he's lying.
We tend to "look" for the information in our brains in different places. One place is where we are looking up data that is already there (maiden names/counties). The other place is where we come up with a story/lies.
Or give him a piece of paper to hold in his hand and see if he's shaking. When you ask him. It's easier to spot hand-shaking if they are holding a piece of paper.
Or give him a piece of gum before you ask him questions. Liars will chomp away at the gum like there's no tomorrow.

There are some pretty good liars out there. Your best bet is to follow him, or have a friend keep a close eye on him for a week. If he's cheating, you know. Though there must be other problems, if you've left him without any proof of infidelity.

Most of the time when people lie, they can't look at you in the face and they look down or look to the left.

Normally, if you have reason to suspect something is going on it's because it usually is. I think you know your answer since you felt the need to leave. I'm sure the signs are there.

in my experience, he's lying if he can't keep his stories straight, if he seems sneaky with his phone and computer etc., if he gets angry fast if you question him, and of course if he can't look you in the eye.
