i've been thinking that eternal night means 12 (like midnight)
so I've been trying numbers that add up to 12, but I think I may be thinking too much.
(the needle answer is Bats, to get into the cave)
edit:
write the numbers on two lines
the left vase on top
right vase on bottom
look for a pattern in the bottom

OOkay, hang on...if you wait for the poem to finish completely and then find the one place you can click, make sure the screen is totally still and then click that area. It's frustrating, but eventually it worked.
Now there are vases to tangle with. Apparantly the numbers on the left give you the coords and the numbers on the right help you order them, but I can't crack it. The Brits are apparantly already waiting for the 26th to get onto riddles 11-15, though, so we need some teamwork over here!
ADD: I'm just guessing these people are Brits because of their references to the UK Volvo site, but I obviously don't know for sure.
Here's another hint for the vases: The clue Volvo gives wants you to use a certain strategy, but it's even easier if you consider that only "E" or "W" can be your 11th digit in your answer.
If anyone wants to return the favor with a good hint on the stars puzzle that comes up next, that'd be fabulous. I don't know much about constellations...

Okay... here's how you solve it (without giving the answer)
Match the 'W' on the left vase up with the '11' on the right vase.
Now... you're going to move the vases one degree at a time, and each time a number pops up on the right vase, a corresponding number or letter should pop up on after the same degrees of movement on the left vase.
The number on the right vase is the order in which the numbers on the left vase go for the coordinates...
That's about as clear as mud, huh?

Ok the riddle tells about the number tweleve. Have them look on the map that is online for some dice and to click on them. When 12 comes up stop and then the word will be there. On right side of there map are a few cards. There is a red card put the word on this red card. You can drag this card out on to the map. If you need anymore help just ask. I too am just doing this for fun.

I have run the numbers for the last two days - I follow the logic on St Marie until you get to the N - I believe my longitude numbers are correct but not sure about the latitude. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm still stuck on the Isle of Saint Mary. I just can't seem to see a pattern. Can someone give me the coordinates to the next island...or walk me through the pattern?

I'm having the same problem that JamminFloyd is. Any ideas?
(Or make that was. Apparently he got the island to quite rotating. I'm still working on that.)

I am on PJ at the moment as well. How can you tell how far the Brits are ahead? Are they posting it on the web?
