No. He's a damn good leader because he realizes the most important thing in leadership. As Tommy Lee Jones put it in Men in Black, "A person is smart, people are dumb, panicky, dangerous creatures..." Clinton started every day of his presidency by looking at polls and doing exactly what was popular at the time, including a certain intern. Bush doesn't care about popularity. He does what is right for the country, both now and further down the road.
And, dammit kids, stop all this Bush bashing. It soesn't make you a "rebel" or an "activist" to just spew out what everybody and their dog are saying. If anything, I am the only rebel here for defending the man.

Yes, but I don't expect the next leader of the free world will be able to change anything. I grieve for the kids who have died in the middle east for big oil, this war was a huge mistake, and I've lived through all of them in the 20th century. The war on terror should turn into the defense against. The US cannot be the world's policeman. We should be looking at defending the nation and let Iraq rebuild itself and deal with the religious zealots destined to kill each other.

No - Bush is a leader - from what I've seen so far those that will be running for office don't have a clue everybody likes to be heard but they come up with no plan seems like we have a whole lot of cheering bench warmers to choose from in the next election but no quarterbacks.

not counting the birth of my kids that will be the happiest day of my life. The best thing about it is that Gov. Taft of Ohio will leave at the same time.I would love to see the2 of them walking hand in hand on the beech. Someone said we may get someone worse. Not possible. He has lied led us to a war that wasn't at all necessary and this new drug plan for Senior cite zens is the worse thing he has ever done to us.We have a hell of a choice, we die because we can't afford our medicine or we starve to death.WE damn sure can't have both.

I'm not even American and I will be holding a street party for 5000000 people with a fireworks display and the royal philharmonic orchestra playing in the background. May the day come soon and may he be impeached for his terrorism and stupidity.

Yes... but not for political reasons.
We limit presidents to two terms for a reason... one them being that sometimes, we just need some fresh viewpoints and direction.
I think Bush has probably done as well as he is capable of doing but I will welcome the change, whoever it eventually is in 2008.

20 January 2009.
That date cannot come soon enough.
I just hope to God that Americans wake up from their slumber and elect a leader that works for ALL people, not just special interest groups.
