I've heard its effective, but if you have serious acne, talk to your dermatologist about accutane. It will change you life.

I think the stuff works great, and know alot of people who think it works wonders. I used it alot when I had a stress "break-out" ... but, keep in mind, I'm someone who doesn't have bad acne regularly, and I use it only when I see something red trying to sneak onto my face. If you have really bad acne, try getting a dermotologist to prescribe accutane.

Careful when ordering products through them though. They have an "automatic" reorder system. So, if you sign up, they may send you products EVERY month. You might need them, you might not. When I tried to cancel my orders (because I had so much stored away), they put me on a 6-month reorder plan without telling me. So, 6 months later, I recieved a new order and a bill .... and was pretty confused (and upset they didnt cancel my orders entirely).

I think they are great though. Just go for the basic package. The lotion, astringent ... and I cant remember the other thing.

When I was 12 I had horrible acne and uneven skin and the only thing that worked was Accutane (I tried Proactiv, Neutrogena, Nature's Cure, all sorts of creams and washes and pills).....

Accutane is a prescription for bad acne and it literally wipes your acne out fast. It also worked for my guy cousin, who had acne on his neck, back and shoulders as well as his face.

It's mostly for severe cases but you could probably find a dermatologist that would prescribe it for you if you were desperate enough. Most mild cases of acne should pass as LONG AS YOU DO NOT POP IT. If you pop it then you're done, it'll scar, turn all poxy and stay with you forever. If you already started popping your acne you'll never have clear skin unless you have laser surgery to correct your skin... it literally descars your skin.

Well, some of my friends have used proactive and the results were great! If you have serious acne, then I would suggest using a different product prescribed by a docter because it can irritate sensitive skin and skin with major ance.

It's supposed to work really well, but the downside is that it drys your skin and it stings really bad (but thats just a minimal side affect) If your really determined to get rid of your acne, try it, or contact your dermatoligist, they would know what's best for you.

It did not work for me, actually made it worse. I now use products by Mario Badescu in New York City. They have made a world of difference to my skin. All natural products. Check out their site www.mariobadescu.com

Good luck!

Two of my friends told me it really works well and they try a lot of different things. I don't have much of a problem unless I wear foundation.
