I just installed aim and it's really different from yahoo im, i don't really like it cause it's not as enjoyable, but I got it so i could talk to some of my other friends, I was wondering, when you add someone to your buddy list on aim do they get an add request or do they even know you added them? idk the answer to this cause nobody ever added me yet, i only added them, if you need any more details just tell me and i'll add them, thanks, hope you can help

No, they don't know that you've added them.

I know, I wish everyone used a different messaging program. For me it would be windows live messenger, I only have 2 people that I can talk to on there :( I agree though about aim's program, it isn't as nice looking, and I don't think it's as user friendly.

Nope, you can add a buddy without them knowing and vice versa

they don't send a message. I think they should though. For the hackers and the stupid people who pretend to be someone else it's like heaven!
