hey princess, before you question your sanity have you been to see the doctor!? i felt really tired all the time which, in turn, was making me feel really fed up cos our physical well being affects our mental well being. so i went to the doctor and he found i have an under active thyroid and was a bit aenemic which was why i was so knackered all the time! just go and get checked out and stop giving yourself a hard time. you are fine, its natural to get a little overwhelmed sometimes, just always remember all the good thats in your life, it is hard going from teenager to adult but the trick is - dont worry! youll be just fine. good luck, x

What you are feeling is normal - everyone goes through this from time to time.

I blame TV & films. We're constantly being shown that life is exciting and our possibilities are endless - when in fact life is a lot of obligations broken by a few moments pleasure.

The older you get the more jaded you become. You slowly you realise that you're never going to be a movie star / artist / nobel prize winner and the best you can hope for is a small semi in suburbia.

You do not need medication but you do need to get excited about something. Set long term goals. embark on decorating, fill your spare time with hobbies, good friends and / or doing things for people less fortuanate than yourself - at least you'll feel that others are benefiting from your existance and it will have some purpose.

Alternatively try imagining the most confident, succesful woman you can think of. Ask yourself what she would be doing tonight, tomorrow, with her life - then go out and do that.

Finally don't blame yourself and don't compare yourself to people less fortuanate and start beating yourself up for ingratitude. Every so often you'll see an article about a depressed celebrity because the truth is that we humans are prone to bouts of melancoly and the less reasons we have to justify it, the more we start loathing ourselves.

So relax, you are just normal

I don't think you're mad, maybe a little depressed. It might be something easily put right, like an under-active thyroid - that makes you depressed and exhausted. I'm not saying it is definitely that, but you should see your doctor - whatever is wrong with you may be put right quite easily. Also what you're feeling is probably what a lot of people are feeling, especially when you are living somewhere where there is a lot of tax, bureaucracy etc.

Maybe you have come to a point in life where you realize that it really does need meaning. That there has to be some else. Look to God to give your life pupose. When you are doing what you were born to do, everyday is worth while. You can go to bed knowing that you have done your job. And in some small way, the wolrd is a better place for your having been there.

If your feeling like this for no apparent reason which is then the chances are you are depressed. Its ok for people to say 'snap out of it" but that makes you feel worst and even guilty for feeling low. You should go and see your doctor and explain how you feel. There are different types of depression and it can be put right. Dont put off going to docs coz you feel you shouldnt be feeling depressed cos there arent always reasons such as sad events, worry of debt etc .. Go tomorrow! You will feel better just knowing your not going mad.

Hi, I get that some times, if you keep yourself really really busy, then you will get more energy. Particularly doing exercise helps, and you will feel much less worn down after!

sounds like mild depression. you should see your doctor. they will either put you on a course of mild anti-depressants or refer you for counselling if they think you would benefit from it.
depression can always be cured so you wont always feel like that.
