I can sign in to all parts of Yahoo except my e-mail account. It says it can't access right now and to check my settings or refresh. I did both and it has been down for over 4 hours now. Why?

Yes server is down.
Go to Answer and then click on Computer & Internet. Theres about 20 people every minute asking this same question....so you are not alone =)
If you go to Answers forum, many people are having same issue. Yahoo's server went down starting last night doing tech work and now they are down again. Their server should be stable soon.

Type mail.yahoo.ca I tried it and it popped right up (my mail that is) ... Apparently the US version of yahoo is not working but all other countries do work.
Again, that site is: mail.yahoo.ca and your mail will show.

report your probablem on yahoo help
go to the uk server
or last click the mail button on the top of your page your looking at right now (top left hand corner)

i am sure i have been cursed,i had no problems answered a question about it,and i have had nothing but problems.its always the case,the cal;m before the storm,with all this up grading etc,its at an all time high with security .

i think everyone is dealing with this problem. there are storms in the west, so maybe thats why they are having problems, i dont know.
