Nothing to worry
I think yahoo servers have some problem as nobody is able to sign in to messenger. I am trying from the past 5 hoursand still awaiting for success.

Yes server is down.
Go to Answer and then click on Computer & Internet. Theres about 20 people every minute asking this same question....so you are not alone =)
If you go to Answers forum, many people are having same issue. Yahoo's server went down starting last night doing tech work and now they are down again. Their server should be stable soon.

yes..messenger/yahoo mail not working . most of us r facing this problem.
