Can anyone provide me with a good source of apartments for rent in Berlin (Germany).
This is not for a holiday but to live.

I recommend www.immobilienscout24.de , but it's in German. I have found my flat via that site. They have pictures in it and you can search very precisely for what you have in mind.

It's absolutely not a problem to find a nice, affordable place here. You should make sure you view the place personally though.

By the way: My neighbours are moving out soon: 2 rooms ensuite, bathroom, kitchen, all fairly newly done. approx. 60 square metres, calm place on to inner courtyard, near tube,"S-Bahn" and busses of course. Charlottenburg area (west). rent per month: ab 450 Euros all in.

It can be even cheaper than that. I only pay 277.- all in for 43 square metres.

Good luck!

Berlin offers an eclectic mixture of new and traditional structure, energetic amusement, buying, and a wide selection of activities and social institutions and if you intend to see after that it this hotelbye is the area to start. A few of the things you will see here are: the Old Museum, the National Gallery, the Bode Museum, Old National Gallery or, the image of Germany, the Berlin Wall. That wall began his life in 1961 when East Germany made down the eastern the main town to base the flood of refugees from east to west. By the time it absolutely was split down in 1989, the 4 meter large wall and 155 kilometres long, dissected 55 roads, and possessed 293 remark towers and 57 bunkers. Today, only little stretches with this graffiti-covered travesty remain, including a 1.4-kilometer expand preserved within the Berlin Wall Memorial, a cooling note of the animosity that once divided Europe.

then in the search bar, type in berlin, look under "immobilien". Immobilien means real estate, so you also try google or yahoo search for "immobilien". hope that helps.
