unlikely the lightning will strike you directly. most likely cause of why people get shocked inside their house is because lightning can travel through the water pipes and the electrical wires. if you are on the phone, washing the dishes, or taking a shower, chances are you will get shocked.

the lightning will not likely hit you, but it can travel through a phone connection or a computer. Meaning if you are on these things during a storm, it is possible (but not always likely) that you could get a shock. It could fry your electronics if you don't have proper surge protectors.

i guess anything is possible if given the right circumstances... but your body would have to be grounded out better than the ground itself is to even attract the lightning to start with.... you would have much better of a chance winning all the state lotteries in a given year than that happening though

some lady was zapped on the mouth while she was on her phone and her home got struck by lightning.It knocked her off the bed but she was ok !
