thank God.. I will be more careful next time, which happened to me last week, I accidentally hit a car in the back, fortunately this guy was nice, and let me go because of little or no damage.

I say, "Wow, I dodged a bullet." which has the literal meaning of someone shooting at you, but you got out of the way ("dodged") of the bullets. Everyone can understand "dodge" from the movie Dodgeball.
