One of my employees keeps printing personal items after I leave work. I've talked to her about it, but she denies it (although it couldn't be anyone else). It seems silly to fire her over this, is there a way for me to block her from printing when I'm not in the office? The printer is a shared printer over the network.

I don't think there's a way to shut off the sharing after a certain time every single day. the only thing you could probably do is just go into your Printers section and "unshare" it when you leave work. that's kind of a pain the in butt, but it's probably the only thing you can do, short of stealing the printer cable and taking it home with you (that would be pretty funny, though).

Go to Control Panel , then settings and then click on Printers.

Right click on the printer that is shared and then there should be an option to take it off the network or to personalize who can share it.

Of course you have to be the admin of the network though.
