I once was in an arab area playing pool, and a mulim guy chatted with me how Osama Bin Laden is his hero and how all the infidals, especialy the Jews must Die. - it was then before 9/11 so i did not know what to look for, but in todays date i wouldve reported him. do you have any such stories?

I do not know where you are talking about, so I will answer as if you were in the U.S.A. Much to my surprise, the big time News media anchor men and women do not seem to even realize the "real" number of "sleeper cells" in the U.S. I do not know this myself, but I have a bad feeling it would scare all of us back into "reality". I think it is very scary just how quickly people forget, busy with what I call the "It's All About Me" syndrome. I hope allot of people read your question, if not to give a better answer than I, then to maybe WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE AMERICA!!! And PLEASE educate the Media before they educate us. Then, maybe someone could give you a great answer....

I was in Yemen not so long after 9/11, and heard that the imam in the local mosque was always inciting people to burn down the languages institute where I worked, presumably because it was run by infidels. But our students just laughed it off: "Why should we want to get rid of our best hope of education and a better standard of living? It'd be crazy !"

Across the Red Sea in Djibouti the following year the locals had a saying "Yanks go home - but please take me with you."

Thus there is a deep ambivalence: on the one hand some poor or disadvantaged people have found they can have a powerful impact with a jacketful of explosives; on the other, the same people may yearn for the lifestyle of the culture they're supposed to abhor.
