I cannot access my yahoo mail but can access all other websites. All I get is the message "Page Cannot Be Displayed" or something to that effect..

It has to be a Yahoo! problem. I could get in last night but not today and I know my settings are correct.

Yahoo! Stated that there is an internal system server error which is periodically occuring. This occured from last night actually. I was able to check my mail this morning, but that was after logging in 5 times. One trick you can try is to log into Yahoo! Mail Canada, UK/Ireland, or India (or somewhere that speaks english) to access mail - since they use a networked but seperate server. Let us know if you are having luck. For messenger, give it couple more minutes, or log into Web Messenger @ http://messenger.yahoo.com/.

Your work may find undermining yuuour company's security features as grounds for dismissal without cause on their part. Be careful in circumventing their security. Best avenue is to convince your boss of a legitimate business need. At my work we have to verify if external mails can get into our mail system, so we have applied for a waiver from the increasingly oppressive rules.

Logging into Yahoo! Canada or UK/Ireland to access your e-mail works. I just logged in under UK/Ireland a second ago and was able to get into my email.

I agree with others I couldn't get to email last night thru front page but did get there thru email link at top of a different page like answers.

Am I glad you asked this question--I am having the same problem !?? It has to be Yahoo with the problem...glad to see others answered having the same trouble. It won't last long..

Log out of everything, and shut down all internet windows, go to control panel, uninstall/remove programs, choose messenger. redownload and reinstall it. This is messing everything up.
