I happened to like RON as a person. I thought he did all he could do as Prez. As an actor he tried too, I'm sure, and no real offense meant, but when you play second to a chimp and are memorialized for that, I'd have to say ACTING should be reconsidered.

Who? Ronald Regan...who is that? What was he the president of? I can't remember...oh that's right...I was in a daze for those 8 years...I like to think of those 8 years as a big DREAM!!

So, it wasn't a dream, he really was president, well, his acting career, I heard, was like his presidency, BAD!!

I always thought he was on the corny and sappy side. But back then that was the popular style, I guess. My mom actually met him at a Eureka College graduation speech or something. Her job was to hold his glasses and have them ready if he needed them during his speech. She said he was very pleasant, friendly, etc., etc.

I knew him when he was acting, he was good, but not the best.
