I think the wild card is coming out of the Central this year. The White Sox are too tough for the Tigers, but the Tigers will get in with the Wild Card because they are beating nearly everybody else that they play.
The Red Sox will come out of the East, but it's not going to be easy. I just don't think that the Yankees can hold on with a shaky pitching staff; however, if the Unit comes around, and they make a move for another good starter, they could come out of the East.
The West is the hardest to tell. Right now, the A's look like they will come out of it. The Rangers have a good team, but you can't outscore everybody, and their pitching is not good enough to hold on through the whole season. The Angels have looked bad this year, but can make a run once they get clicking, but it will be too little, too late.
And seriously, does the person above realize he/she picked three teams out of the East?

AL West: Oakland A's. (4)
They have a very good starting rotation especially once Harden gets back to 100%. Offense is slightly above average and defensively they are solid. Thing that sets them apart is their record against their own division (currently 16-9). If they keep this up, they will easily win the west.
AL Central: Chicago White Sox (3)
Starting rotation has been very questionable. However, I expect them to get their act together and make a huge run in the second half. Offensively they are highly gifted. I dont think the Tigers can maintain the pace they are going right now.
AL East: Boston Red Sox (1)
As much as it pains me to say this, I think the Red Sox will win the East by the slimmest of margins. They have very good 1-2-3 starters, but 4-5 are questionable. Defensively, they are very solid. Their achilles heel is their offense. Outside of Ortiz and Ramirez, offensive production is questionable at best.
AL Wild Card: Toronto Blue Jays (2)
Solid rotation when healthy once again. Offense is one of the best in the league. Defensively however, they are weak up the middle. Two youngsters being the double-play combination has led to few costly errors this year. Jays will finish very close behind the Red Sox.

Chicago White Sox because they will win the central
Boston Red Sox because they will win the Al east
Yankees because they will win the wild card
Oakland A's they will win the AL west.
Everyone is probably wondering where the tigers are but they wil slop off towards the end of the year because if u look at their record against playoff conteders they are way below .500. The yankees will pick up someone to help them out and after all this the White Sox will be back it the WS.
PS. Allison you are an idiot you have no team coming out of the AL west and three teams out of the AL east. Congratulations ur an idiot u can only have the max of two teams out of one division. Good try though.

AL East-Boston
NYY cannot survive with their old pitching staff and banged-up lineup. I don't know what everyone sees in Toronto. Boston is better. They have the perfect mix of hitting and defense.
AL CENTRAL-White Sox
In the end, they will be too striong for Detroit. It is tough to say which is better, their pitching or their offense. This is a force to be rekcon' with!
AL West-Texas
The Angels have been a disappointment thus far, and they don't look like they are turning it around anytime soon. Don't look for the Rangers pitching, for it is non-existent. However, they are the best offense in their division, and Oakland will have to score some more runs to beat this team out.
AL Wild Card-Detroit
They beat out the Yanks in this one. Pudge, Maggs, and Shelton have come up big thus far, and their pitching has held them together. They will win the wild card simply because the Yankees are too injured.
Those are my picks. Enjoy.
