bring along a box or two of roofing nails toss them out on the road to slow traffic behind you
see if you can make the trip in14 hours i did washington dc to orlando in 11
whenever possible make people beleif you are pleasuring the driver if you notice people looking at you back seat passengers are board and often look around so put on a good show
FLASH as many drivers as possible you will become part of there stories for life. who doesnt like to tell a storie about the time they were flashed by someone and where .spice it up if your friend is a girl get freaky in the back seat make sure you have the attention of on-lookers unless the two of you are just into it .
make other men have arguements with there wifes by getting there attention and going down on your husband this will make them want some too and for the rest of the trip he will be frustrated unless his wife does the same .SO sharing can help other drivers relax and enjoy the trip or cause huge fights
your friend in the back seat can have a sign that says i am being kidnapped please help me sign this always creates some fun.

Well, these games are more for kids, but if you get really bored you can try them. There's the alphabet game where you have to find all of the letters of the alphabet (in order) on signs or in store names. You can also make a list of things to look for (like kinds of birds or wildlife) and see if you can find everything.

Aside from the usual 20 questions, there are some fun games that require a bit more imagination. I have been in groups were these were really fun, but unfortunately, some people simply refuse to play them.. don't know why. Here are two that I like:
1) "________ Lover's Songbook"
This game really appeals to Punsters.
Pick a broad topic at random... say, for example "Dogs". Then everyone tries to think up titles or lines from songs that would appeal to Dogs and Dog Lovers. But not just random titles, you are using the titles of REAL songs, but altering them to sound (in this example) more "doggie". So you might sing "There is a house in Spaniel Harlem", or you might just say "Fly Like a Beagle". Sometimes the worse the puns are the more fun you have. Pick topics that are broad like Birds, Fish, or Cats. If you are in a really keen group, you can try trickier ones like "Plumber's Song Book" ( "It's Draining Men!").
2) I know there is a name for this game, but I can't remember it. So let's just call it "Who Am I?"
The only way I can think to explain it is to give an example of a round:
Let's say BILL is 'it'
Bill says, "I am 'R'" (or any other letter of the alphabet)
Now everyone is trying to think of a famous person who's last name begins with 'R' (but don't blurt them out, you want to keep them to yourself!)
Going clockwise around the car, Mary goes first.
Mary thinks of 'Ray Romano', and she asks a question like: "Are you the voice of an animated woolly mammoth?" because Mary knows Ray Romano voiced the mammoth character in the movie Ice Age. But she is hoping that Bill might not know this.
Bill thinks for a moment and than says, "No, I am not Ray Romano."
Bill knew who Mary was thinking of, so he gets 1 point.
Bill is still it.
Now it's Jane's turn. Jane's asks "Were you president of the United States?"
Bill immediately answers "No, I am not Reagan."
Now Jane was not thinking of Reagan, she was actually thinking of Roosevelt. But, Bill is right, Reagan was president too. So Jane keeps Roosevelt to herself. If she gets another turn she can use the same question again.
Now Bill has 2 points and is still it.
Jack asks "Are you a movie reviewer?"
Bill thinks but just can't come up with a name (it might be a good idea at the beginning to agree on a time limit of 1 minute to keep things moving). Bill is stumped so he is forced to ask "Who am I?"
Jack answers "You are Roeper (of Ebert and Roeper)."
Because he stumped Bill, Jack gets a point and is now 'it'.
Jack starts the next round by saying "I am B" (or whatever letter he chooses)
But let's suppose Jack was bluffing. What if he didn't actually know of any movie reviewers who's last name began with 'R'?
If Bill had answered "Roeper", then no one would know that Jack was bluffing (sneaky bugger!). If Bill was stumped and asked "Who am I?", then Jack would be caught in his bluff. In this case, Bill gets the point and is still 'it'. But now everyone knows that Bill does not know a movie reviewer with R.
Mary thought of Roeper, and is amazed they did not think of him! So she asks the same question "Are you a movie reviewer?". Again Bill is stumped and has to ask "Who am I?" Mary answers "You are Roeper" and wins the point.
Keep playing until someone has a set number of points... five, ten or whatever, or until someone threatens to jump out of the car if you don't do something else.

How about what can you do with the car instead of in the car? Take the scenic route and pull hand-brake turns, doughnuts in car parks and have fun driving.

I would try to find some Mad Libs and you can always play "I Spy" and "20 Questions." Some bookstores have some pretty cool travel games. Also, don't forget good music!!

Ride. Get a driver, get in the backseat and... well you'll think of something.
Also talk is good. Specially when you want 'roadtripgames' as an excuse not to... I suggest you talk, a lot.
