Dallas would have had more of a chance because the momentum wouldn't have all been lost in the three games in Miami they would have had some opportunity to win the momentum back.

From the beginning Dallas had a chance to close out the heat without a question. The problem was they relaxed to many times when they went up into double- digit leads. It made it harder for them to fight back when Miami(I really mean Wade) went on one of those runs and at that point Dallas was playing on the backs of their heels, not looking comfortable. No matter the format, Dallas had every opportunity to win their first NBA championship regardless of the missed calls and the tight officiating. I would like to congratulate the Dallas Mavericks for making an unbelievable run in the playoffs and I guarantee that the Mavs will be back in the Finals to claim what should have been originally theirs.

Its always funny to me how the losing fans always complain about the refs, whether its Dallas this year or a storied franchise like the Celtics back when they were in battle with Showtime and the Pistons. The referring is equally bad both directions and always has been.

If Dallas wasn't so lazy on defense they easily could have won the whole thing. Its been the knock against them for many years now.

Format does not matter here. They've been thru that when qualifying for nba finals so that isn't new at all. I believe there so many bad calls on both teams but too many on Mavs. Its simple the referees wanted Miami to win. But thats ok with me cos Mavs are the best. They won't go far cos they will feel the heat come next season. They will see a different Mavs team. Instead we will put the referees on foul trouble? Screw them!!!!!

Nope! The HEAT rocks! They wanted it more than Dallas. And the Miami fans wanted it more than the Dallas fans. You should have seen the news coverage last night. It went on until 3am!

I think Dallas would have won if the officiating was better. The refs were terrible in the series.

The Format really takes away a true home court advantage becuz you have to withstand a possible 3 game road trip before having a chance to win. Im a heat fan and I thought that the format would have killed them but the heat had as much momentum as JUGGERNAut they were unstoppable. "DO YOU KNOW HOW I AM... IM JUGGERNAUT %#$@@

I think the best team won, plain and simple. Yes we do owe Wade big and without him I'm not sure we could have done it, but most of our guys played great and it takes a team to motivate and play us there, and we finally made it. From Pat Riley to the benchers they all deserve it!

HEAT is #1!
