We are having a bunch of problems with our sprinkler system and the owner landed in jail. Now no one answers the phone and our system is not working...what can we do? If I get someone else to fix it will he be responsible for the bill when he gets out?

You are probably SCREWED...

You can't sue a business that is out of business.

I'd keep receipts... maybe pursue a CIVIL SUIT... but... it's going to be an uphill battle.

Was the warranty issued by this Sprinkler company or did they just install a product manufactured by someone else? If there is a problem with the sprinkler system, try calling the manufacturer directly. This is the reason it helps to fill in those "cards' after you buy anything and mail directly to the manufacturer. If there is a problem with the service they provided (installation), then you probably are out of luck.

Good luck.

Maybe he can fix your system while he's out on a weekend furlough.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
