Sorry, but I am French, so I will give you french expressions (if you care!) and I will try to explain them:
-être blanc comme neige (to be innocent)
-être blanc comme un cachet d'aspirine (to have a very pale complexion)
-blanc-bec (young man without experience)
-donner carte blanche (to give full powers)
-voix blanche (clear voice but which lacks stamp)
-se regarder dans le blanc des yeux (to look fixedly at somebody)
Well, I don't find other examples, I hope that's enough?!

my maiden name was white so we used to think up weird names like: milk white, pearl white, snow white, off white, & fishbelly white (my fave). white as a sheet, white as a ghost, bleached white... plus somewhat whitish words like: cream, ivory, antique white (a house paint color) and oil paint colors like zinc white, lead white (which was banned)... white isn't the absence of color but the presence of all the colors in the light spectrum.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning ! You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours, and when it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of them, not one stinking dink body. The smell -- you know, that gasoline smell -- the whole hill -- it smelled like victory
