the orgin of ertreans is the same as ethiopians, First the ham(cham) generation came to ertrea and ethiopia, but after 1000 years the Semetic generation took over. the ham generation are found mostly to the south of ethiopia(oromo, gambela) the semetic generation are found to the n. ethiopia andf ertrea(amara, tegre, tegray) *hope it helps

They are ethiopians at the end of the day, just spilt up cos of tribal issues and land independence
