i believe that it has much to do with the way technology has changed our society at such a rapid pace

i dont believe people were so fearful or insecure or whatever you'd like to call it just 100 years ago

back then, people were firmly rooted in family, tradition, they didn't leave home much, weren't bombarded with information every two seconds and had a much better understanding of how they fit into nature

just look at your evening news, every single day there's a story of what is bad for you, why you shouldn't let your kids do this or that, why you should be scared of letting the kids watch tv, why they need to wear helmets on bicycles, the dangers of rollerblading, the danger of falling off the sofa while watching t.v. and so on

they should just call the news "Stuff to be Scared Of Today"

Because they don't understand God. He gave us free will. Alot of us choose hate instead of love. However the capacity to love is infinitely greater than the capacity to hate. All the evil ideologies die on their own accord. Nazis and all fanatics are inherently stupid and cannot last. However, most people are cowardly and this means that society usually endures evil much too long. Hitler should have been stopped in 1936 at the earliest and 1940 at the latest. His generals knew they could not win a war on two fronts, yet they waited until July of 1944 to make a sound assasination attempt. Ridiculous Germans. Ridiculous French. Ridiculous Americans, British, Spanish, Italians, Irish, Arabs, Jews, etc. Fear is ridiculous and tragic and irrational.

Hey, I'm fearful! Of everything! Why? Not good parents, that's why. So here's an appeal (2nd in my career in this place): BEFORE you get married, think 100 times, if it's the right person. You might save a horror to your children.

well let's see we have a dictator who wasn't even elected by the people, who was raised from the womb of Satan, he says he likes us but we die by the dozens daily, and he smiles with approval. He calls everyone else a terrorist, but he designed the word and follows the rules of death and extinction. He thrives on hate, but calls himself a christian. His bloodline reeks of Nazism and he hiles from the 3rd reigt.
