Being out of touch with reality has nothing to do with our education systems. And I say systems because it's different in every county in every state. For example, I live in Florida. Duval county schools are not as good as Clay county or St Johns county schools. Also, there are differences between private and public schools.

The education system has nothing to do with the Americans connection to reality. The idea that the 2 are related is absurd.

Your question is a feeble attempt to illicit anger from those whom you envy and in-turn make yourself feel somehow superior.

Sorry i do want to play this game.

Our school system of today is one of socializing the children especially in public schools. Instead of being focused on studies ( math, reading, Social studies and sciences). We are need to let the children know how to use a condom or teach them good pc. But at least some of them are grading from HS without a ability to read at a HS level. So yes our school system does bite and thats why other countries are ahead of us.

i do no longer think of it is so uncomplicated as that. u.s. has constantly been a rustic that prides itself on its stable independence from information and actuality (unusual, once you think approximately that each wave of immigrants has taken huge delight in and made huge efforts in direction of turning out to be knowledgeable). this is the land of PT Barnum, faith healers, con artists and innumerable transparently ludicrous cults, of which the LDS and Scientology are purely the 1st ones to realize truthfully religiosity. this is fertile soil for the Republican party. Proudly, determinedly, ignorant human beings, distrustful of technology and numbers and with a stable concept in magic have made this united states what this is at present: teetering on the sting of a financial and political Niagara Falls. It takes genuine grit and decision to take a rustic so prosperous in wealth and gaining awareness of and intensely just about turn it into Zimbabwe in purely a pair of generations, and that i think of we would desire to constantly all be conscious of the GOP for their marvelous feat. it rather is the counterpart to somebody prevailing the Powerball lottery, gathering 15 million money, and being flat broke in below each week. That takes mad skillz, yo.

IT'S NOT THE SYSTEM. IT IS THE PARENTS AND SOME OF THE TEACHERS. TEACHERS ONCE CARED WHAT THE KIDS LEARNED NOW THEY DON'T CARE AND ALSO PARENTS DON'T CARE EITHER. LIKE THE OLD SAYING SAYS IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE AND TEACH A CHILD - NOW THE CHILDREN RAISE THEMSELVES.
