I kept hearing that "Brazil have lost their touch" and "Out of form" and stuff like that.

Are the commentators praying for Brazil's downfall or something?

I wouldn't say praying for their downfall, but they probably were execssively harsh on the Brazilians. They're supposed to be one of the best teams in the world on a consistent basis, so they're bound to be held up by a higher standard.

Most commentators are always wanting for Brazil to lose although they pretend to like them they are jealous of Brazil's success in football, even if their performance was below par they are still one of the best teams in the world, it just was not meant to be this year, even champions sometimes lose. Brazil will bounce back in the future and claim their place as one of the top football playing Nations in the World.

No. Just the truth that nobody wants to recognize. Brasil has a very mediocre team. The last brazilian good team was in 1990. They just know how to win, taking adventage that everybody is scare of them. And to think that they fielded those wonderfull teams in 82 and 70!

If you think the commentators are harsh on Brazil..listen to them when Italy plays...they are always harsh on them. The commentators really only favor one team: ENGLAND, They are suppose to be impartial but they are really bias. If you listen closely you will hear that they use "we" when they are talking about England.

its just that in this life it seems that the more we get the more we want! it is fair to say that Brazil don't seem to have seemed as threatening this year, but we should never underestimate the mighty Brazil
